Lunar Ring Media’s video for LA CIGARRA is an official selection at CMIFF!
That’s it. That’s all I wanted to say – I’m so proud of the work we’ve done over the past year and a half, between a documentary, three ambitious music videos, and a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff through it all. This is our fourth screening at a film festival, and it’s the second one for CABRAKAÄN‘s La Cigarra. Our work has now been screened in Canada, Spain, Chile, and Mexico.
This video was an absolute blast to shoot. Two locations: one Mexican-themed location, and an outdoor shot at Fisher Creek Park in Calgary, AB to represent both the wildness of a cicada (la cigarra) and the band’s journey to Canada. It was a beautiful experience.
